About:
Calvary Bible Church of Bakersfield, CA, is a non-denominational, conservative, evangelical church. Though our attendance has been declining, we are a well-established church in the community with no major issues or "scandals" related to such decline or
related to the departure of our previous Lead Pastor. We have a strong heritage of service and missions, as well as a very strong ministry staff in place. We hope that our next Lead Pastor will help us bring focus and energy to our vision for shepherding our
people and expanding the Kingdom, with a renewed emphasis on younger adults and families. We currently have very strong ministry to our seniors, and we would add that our older adults truly hope to see the ministry to younger generations take off.
