Mountain Park Community Church is a community of Holy Spirit filled worshipers caring for people, growing together and reaching our world. Mountain Park desires to grow under the direction of the Lead Pastor and seeks the fellowship of Acts 2:46-47 to be evidenced in our community. You have a passionate devotion to Christ, committed to prayer and ongoing personal spiritual growth
You are a spiritual shepherd (1Peter 5:2-3) with a strong gifting in vision-casting, motivating and inspiring your congregation
You have a heart for the local church and its role in the surrounding community and the global church
You preferably have a Master’s in Divinity with at least four to seven years of experience in local church ministry with a proven record of effectiveness
You preach/teach messages under the anointing, truth, and grace of the Holy Spirit that have practical, real-life applications
People say you value relationships over tasks yet maintain excellence in your ministry efforts
You are an effective people developer, comfortable with coaching emerging leaders to discover and pursue their God-given potential
You compassionately make time for those with spiritual needs, the sick, shut-ins and the bereaved
You are skilled in engaging multiple generations of people in ministry bridging gaps between groups and bringing people together
You inspire and equip your congregation to confidently share their personal faith journey with others
You are a systematic thinker, highly organized in implementing strategy, mindful of maintaining continuity while managing change for growth
You are confident and collaborative in directing the church in conjunction with an Elder Board (1 Timothy 3)
You align with Mountain Park’s mission, vision, and values as well as the theological tenets of the Mennonite Brethren denomination
