Eagle Church is looking for an experienced Associate Pastor who would come alongside our Lead Pastor to provide spiritual leadership & operational oversight of the staff and the church's ministry priorites (discipleship, missions, next generation). Here is our "ideal candidate profile"...

  • Strong work ethic, models a posture of servanthood – “carry the towel” (John 13)
  • Lives a spiritually transforming life, on the journey, hungry to learn & grow


  • Fully understands and is passionate about leading from the ‘second chair’ with the many opportunities that it affords: serve as a trusted confidant of the Lead Pastor with a high degree of dedication to ministry in the church through this position
  • Work with Lead Pastor to implement the vision and values of Eagle Church
  • Possess extensive pastoral or management experience, with additional experience in leadership development, team building, delegation and organization/administration
  • Understands and has managed change in large organizations
  • An understanding of budget, financial, and fiscal management, as well as human resource management
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent strategic and management leadership
  • Demonstrated history of strong, positive interpersonal and communication skills, including positive experience in conflict resolution
  • A high level of energy and a readiness to take on significant challenges
  • Organizational rigor to move things forward
  • Ability to effectively coach and develop leaders
  • Lead and define organizational processes
  • A strong desire to implement programs and build healthy systems that will foster the vision and continued growth of Eagle Church
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the church
  • Leaders of leaders – must build strong relationships with staff in order to foster an environment of organizational health
  • Has a passion to make disciples in the way of Jesus (i.e. managing people involves making disciples)
  • Sees beyond the walls of the church with a heart for God’s glory in the all the earth
  • Understands who they are is more important that what they do
  • Promote spiritual unity within all areas of the church
  • Licensed with the Christian & Missionary Alliance within 12 months, ordained within 24 months
